Sweet BnB! My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Grandiflora in March 2022. In looking over the online promotional material, we couldn't decide which room to stay in, so we booked one night in each of 3 rooms. Laurel, Mississippi is a small, old, but growing town, full of quaint houses and is the origin of the HGTV show "Hometown". Because of that publicity, the town and the businesses are growing. The Grandiflora owners, Hugh and Carolyn Stancill, raised their family in this old mansion, then converted it to a BnB when they decided to downsize. They now live next door, so are VERY accessible and ready and willing to help out in any way they can to enhance your visit. Hugh is retired and spends many mornings in the kitchen at the Grandiflora visiting with guests. Carolyn touts Laurel and the local businesses, and knows virtually everyone who is anyone in town. She's an eye-catcher, too, with a great sense of humor. You'll enjoy spending time with her! The rooms are nicely appointed and geared toward meeting the comfort needs of the guests. The 3 rooms we stayed in (The Lindsey Room, the Thomas Room, and the Stancill Suite) all had very comfortable memory foam beads. The Lindsey Room featured a nice spa-type tub, the Thomas Room a large walk-in shower, and the Stancill Suite a spa-type tub and a large steam room with a shower. Of the 3, we recommend the Stancill Suite. Breakfast was nicely prepared by Alec and Shelby each morning, and offered a great variety of grits, pancakes, eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, freshly baked muffins, coffee, and juice. This was our first visit to Laurel, and our first stay at the Grandiflora. We'll be back!

My husband found Grandiflora on a Bing list of B & B in Laurel. He called at 8 p.m.( Laurel time) and spoke to Rae, the manager. She answered his questions quickly and he actually asked her to choose one of the rooms for us. Having grown up in Laurel, I recognized the address as one of the grand homes on Fifth Avenue so we were looking forward to seeing it. ... Gorgeous house and gardens, wonderful breakfast but Hugh and Carolyn and Rae are who made this visit special. Highly recommended !!!

Thank you for a wonderful visit at Grandiflora. We enjoyed ourselves, and really enjoyed the neighborhood. Over the course of our trip, we stayed in four different bed and breakfasts. A__ and I agreed that Grandiflora was the best - location, hospitality, and comfort. We hope to come your way again in the future, and will be calling to make a reservation to stay, hopefully for a couple of days. Thank you so much!
